Welcome to Slipgate Stories, a library born from a shared love of classic FPS games, built by me and aided by a bunch of retro FPS enthusiasts! 

Here at Slipgate Stories, we weave together compelling anthological narratives focusing on those who traverse the chaotic realms of interdimensional warfare. Each delve within the weight of their experiences, revealing struggles and triumphs that often punctuates their grim realities.

Picture this: a grizzled veteran, haunted by the horrors of a lab filled with failed experiments, recounting the aftermath of a battle. Or maybe a cunning rogue space pilot, desperately trying to escape an unforgiving alien world. These stories aren't just window dressing; they breathe life into our characters and create a truly immersive experience & universe filled with it's own lore!

Slipgate Stories isn't just about expanding the familiar gameplay with assets of our favorite throwback shooters, it is about using perspective for its characters in trivial situations as their stories make them a part of this ongoing saga!

Let's be clear: This is passion projects only. I do most of the development work myself, a solo act backed by a dream team of contributors who create the awesome assets that bring these worlds to life.

We're not working on the latest AAA releases here, instead you will find that all our creations are made with the EFPSE (Easy FPS Editor) An engine great for applying Doom/Duke Nukem like sprites and textures which is great for bringing them to life without the need of coding! 

Our work is purely for entertainment purposes, we find great satisfaction in the FPS genre and enjoy bringing some of those fan projects to life with compelling stories to tell!
